“Working in a Series in Watercolor” ~ Wednesdays, 10am-Noon, November 5 to December 17 (no classNov. 26).

Artists sometimes become interested in a particular subject and want to explore it artistically.  Working in a seriescan often lead to growth in skills and new discoveries.  Students in this class will pick a subject that interests them, such as water, cityscapes, architectural features, figures, plants, etc.  They will paint that subject in different ways, with different lighting, in various styles, using different color palettes or techniques, etc.  This class will helpstudents widen their painting perspective and approach.  Some watercolor experience recommended.

“Interpreting Winter’s Beauty in Watercolor” ~ Wednesdays, 10am-Noon, January 7-February 11

Hone your watercolor skills by depicting the unique beauty of winter, such as the bright light reflected from fresh snow or the warm glow emanating from a cozy fireplace, scampering winter creatures, winter’s solitude or the swishes of a crowded ice skating rink.
