vmi_logo2With the minor league season winding down, former VMI second baseman Jordan Tarsovich has been promoted to Class A Great Lakes in the Los Angeles Dodger organization. Tarsovich made his A-ball debut Tuesday night, going 0 for 3 with a walk and a run batted in.

Great Lakes, the Midwest League (low-A) Dodger affiliate, will be Tarsovich’s third team of the season, following stays with the Arizona Dodgers and the rookie league Ogden Raptors. At his most recent stop, Ogden, he hit .264 with two home runs, 10 RBI and a 1-1 strikeout to walk ratio (11-11).

Great Lakes wraps up a series at the West Michigan Whitecaps Thursday before opening a home set against Dayton on Friday night.
