VMI alum Thomas Stallings named volunteer assistant baseball coach

Chris Graham

stallingsVMI alumnus and former Keydet player Thomas Stallings ’15 has been named the new volunteer assistant coach for VMI baseball.

Stallings’ final year at VMI, 2015, was his best, as he hit .286 with 10 home runs while playing three different infield positions. Stallings was also a Louisville Slugger National Player of the Week honoree in early April.

“I am excited about the addition of Thomas to our staff,” said VMI head coach Jonathan Hadra. “He was a player that had a great attitude and worked hard every day, doing what he needed to do to help VMI baseball win on a daily basis. I am looking forward to see him work with our young players while they begin the transition to VMI and Division 1 Baseball.”

The 2016 VMI baseball schedule will be available later this fall.
