
Virginia State Police have had a busy few weeks with the seizure of narcotics, investigations into human trafficking and child exploitation and a homicide case.
From Jan. 31 to Feb. 20, Virginia State Police, in partnership with supporting federal and local agencies, seized more than $1.1 million in narcotics.
Firearms
- A total of 11 firearms were recovered valued at $8,000.
Narcotics
Total seized narcotics amounted to 28.11 pounds, along with 19,200 controlled substance pills.
The denied revenue from the seized narcotics is valued at $1,124,999.
Breakdown of narcotics recovered:
- Cocaine: Nine pounds
- Marijuana: Eight pounds
- Heroin: 38.18 ounces
- Methamphetamine: 8.15 pounds
- Fentanyl pills: 19,100
- Percocet pills: 100
Explosive devices
One explosive device was safely seized and neutralized.
Stolen vehicles
Four stolen vehicles were successfully recovered.
