Anne Holton will join Hillary Clinton supporters in Richmond Monday evening to make calls to voters and talk with them about Clinton’s vision to help Virginia families succeed by strengthening K-12 schools, making college more affordable, and easing the burden of student loan debt.
Supporters will also remind voters that Monday is the deadline to register to vote in the March 1 presidential primary.
Holton is a life-long advocate for children and families who worked as a legal aid lawyer and juvenile court judge before establishing the program Great Expectations to help Virginia’s foster youth graduate high school and receive a community college education as they transition out of the foster care system.
She currently serves as Virginia’s Secretary of Education.
