With its biggest week of the season before it, Virginia is ranked a season-best third in the Associated Press and USA Today national polls.
The Cavaliers (21-5, 10-4 ACC) won their only game last week, a 73-53 win on Feb. 22 over NC State.
UVA faces Miami (21-5, 10-4 ACC), ranked 11th in the USA Today poll and 12th in the AP poll, tonight at 7 p.m.
Villanova (24-3) was ranked first in both polls for the third straight week. Kansas (23-4) is second in both polls.
North Carolina (22-5, 11-3 ACC), which faces Virginia in Charlottesville on Saturday, is sixth in the coaches poll and seventh in the writers poll.
