Sen. Barack Obama will be in Richmond on Wednesday for a Change We Need rally at the Richmond Coliseum.

The event is free and open to the public, though an RSVP is recommended. To RSVP, visit www.va.barackobama.com on the web.

The event begins at 12:15 p.m. Doors to the Coliseum open at 10 a.m. Based on past experiences, I would recommend that you get there as close to 10 a.m. as possible.

Admission is done on a first-come, first-served basis.

For security reasons do not bring bags or umbrellas and please limit personal items. No signs or banners allowed.

Parking is limited, so it is recommended that you carpool or use public transportation if possible.

If you are leaving from the Waynesboro-Staunton area or want to and are in need of a ride, contact the AFP at [email protected]. We will try to coordinate carpools leaving the area Wednesday morning.
