Virginia Hearing Group Presented to PRSC

vpasheader0311On May 5, Price Rotary Senior Center members had the pleasure of having Karen Klotz and Elaine Spedding of the Virginia Hearing Group from Verona come give to a presentation.

Karen has had over 35 years of experience in working with the deaf and hard of hearing and is very passionate when it comes to helping an individual hear correctly. Karen stressed the importance of getting a hearing test because according to scientific evidence the greater the hearing loss and individual has, the greater the chance you have of developing dementia.

Members were very engaged in the presentation and asked multiple questions in regards to their hearing and general hearing questions. Karen ended the presentation by extending her services to Center members for another visit to offer the members a free hearing test.
