Virginia scored another signature win on Saturday, and bumped up a couple of spots in the national polls as a result.
The Cavs (17-4, 6-3 ACC) moved up to ninth in both the Associated Press and USA Today Coaches Poll.
UVA won a pair of ACC road games last week, defeating Wake Forest, 72-71, on Tuesday, and then-#16 Louisville, 63-47, on Saturday.
North Carolina (19-2, 8-0 ACC) held the top spot in the USA Today poll, and Oklahoma (18-2) remains atop the AP poll.
Villanova (18-3) is third in the AP poll, with Maryland (19-3) third in the coaches poll.
Iowa (17-4) is fifth in the AP poll, with Xavier (19-2) fifth in the coaches poll.
The big news of the week is who isn’t in either poll: Duke (15-6, 4-4 ACC) dropped out of both after losing its only game last week, 80-69 at Miami on Monday.
