Virginia Tech won a hard-fought game with Syracuse, 83-73, on Tuesday. Zach LeDay led Tech with 22 points on 9-of-13 shooting, while Justin Bibbs chipped in 18 points in the win. Freshman Taurean Thompson had another solid game for Cuse, scoring 18 points in the loss.
