Route 654 (Barracks Road) in Albemarle County is closed in both directions between the Route 250 Bypass and Route 656 (Georgetown Road) due to a tractor-trailer fire and diesel fuel spill.
The road is likely to remain closed for several hours while a hazardous materials crew cleans up the spill.
