UVA basketball maintains its spot at #2 in the Associated Press and USA Today coaches national polls this week.
Virginia (17-0, 5-0 ACC) received first-place votes in both polls for the second straight week. Kentucky (17-0) remains atop both polls.
Gonzaga (18-1), Villanova (17-2) and Duke (16-2, 4-2 ACC) round out the Top 5. Villanova lost at Georgetown, 78-58, Monday night, hours after the polls were released. Duke trounced Pitt, 79-65, at home on Monday night.
Notre Dame (17-2, 5-1 ACC) moved up to #8 in the AP poll and #9 in the USA Today poll. Louisville (15-3, 3-2 ACC) is at #10 in both polls, with UNC (14-4, 4-1 ACC) at #15 in both polls.
VCU (15-3) is ranked #16 in both national polls.
