Update: Waynesboro Police make major meth seizure

policecar3The Waynesboro Police Department executed a search warrant at a city residence that resulted in the arrest of a Waynesboro man and the seizure of approximately $7,000 worth of methamphetamine.

On Friday at approximately 9:30 p.m., the Waynesboro SWAT Team raided the residence of Fred William Quick, 45, at 1640 10th Street.  The arrest comes as the result of an ongoing drug investigation.

Officers charged Quick with one felony count of possession of methamphetamine with the intent to distribute.  Additional charges are pending against Quick.  He is being held on a $20,000 bond at Middle River Regional Jail.
