Update: Culpeper County fatal plane crash victim identified

Virginia State Police has identified the pilot and sole occupant of a fatal plane crash on Friday in Culpeper County.

Grover C. McCall Jr., 66, of Alexandria, died the scene of the crash.

The accident happened in the 13000 block of Spillman Road at 2:43 p.m.

The FAA and NTSB were notified.

The incident remains under investigation.
