Toronto makes it two in a row over Baltimore

baltimore oriolesA five-run sixth was the difference for the Toronto Blue Jays in an 11-6 win over the Baltimore Orioles on Saturday.

The win was the second in a row for the Jays over the O’s (36-25).

Reliever T.J. McFarland (1-2, 5.89 ERA) took the loss, giving up five runs on five hits in two innings of work.

Orioles starter Mike Wright (3-3, 5.31 ERA) got a no-decision, giving up four runs on six hits in five innings of work, striking out three and walking five.

Edwin Encarnacion homered twice for Toronto (34-30).

Manny Machado (.306/.376/.600) was 3-for-5 with a homer, his 16th of the season. Chris Davis (.228/.349/.488) also homered, his 15th, on a 2-for-3 day.
