Maybe I’m a grump, I dunno. Actually, I know what it is.

We set up a booth at last year’s Augusta County Fair and worked it every night of the fair. The thinking being, We’ll see people we haven’t seen in a while, meet a lot of people, have a general good time in the process.

It didn’t take long for the Tea Party people to ruin it for me. I ended up spending the bulk of my time arguing with people over health-care reform, when I wasn’t denying at the top of my lungs that I’m a socialist for thinking the way that I do.
