I’m not going to go all “Thomas Jefferson has been maligned!” on you and tell you that I’m suddenly boycotting Kraft because of their recent run of commercials featuring Jefferson claiming rather nonsensically to have been the inventor of Kraft mac-n-cheese.

It’s not that Jefferson has been maligned. It’s that the commercials are so badly done.

Seriously. I mean, first, the guy playing Jefferson seems to be channeling, I don’t know, the id of your average 12-year-old, and based on what your average 12-year-old today would know of Jefferson.

(He wore a wig! Hahahahaha!)
