Technical issues impacting us here at AFP today: We think we’re getting a handle on it

Today has sucked for us here at AFP, but it’s for a good cause. Which is what I keep telling myself, to make the past several hours of stress seem like it’s worth it.

We’re working on some things behind the scenes here at AFP that will get things moving in a good new direction for us.

Don’t need to bore you with the details just yet, but with growth comes … growing pains.

My growing pains hit when I was 11; the pain in my shin bones was something fierce.

That went on for weeks.

I’m thinking – hoping – the issue we had this morning, and into the early afternoon, with the site either being down entirely, or just looking strange when it did come up, is either over and done with, or about to be.

At this writing, we’re back at 100 percent, but that’s because we had to put some of the back-end website stuff on hold, to see what in the sam heck was going on that made things go haywire.

I’m lucky I shave my head each morning; otherwise, I would have pulled it all out, which is more painful.

Any case, sorry for the issues, thanks for sticking with us.

No, Jeff Bezos didn’t fire us, and the Trump regime didn’t shadowban us.

These wounds were all self-inflicted, and we’re going to get it fixed.
