Strasburg tanks in 8-5 Washington Nationals loss

Strasburg (15-3, 3.07 ERA, 1.04 WHIP) was hit up for six runs on seven hits in five and a third innings, striking out seven and walking two.

Jace Peterson and Freddie Freeman each went deep off Strasburg,

Anthony Rendon (.267/.351/.448, 14 HR, 50 RBI) hit a two-run homer in the fourth for the Nats (67-47).

Rookie Trea Turner (.301/.333/.485, 2 HR, 13 RBI) was 3-for-5 with a run scored and an RBI.

Daniel Murphy (.348/.388/.610, 21 HR, 82 RBI) was 2-for-3 with two runs scored.

Bryce Harper was out of the lineup for the fourth straight game with stiffness in his neck.
