Stephen Strasburg threw seven scoreless innings, and the Washington Nationals bullpen actually closed things out in a 4-1 win at Cleveland on Wednesday.
Strasburg (14-1, 2.68 ERA, 0.99 WHIP) struck out seven and walked three, allowing three hits.
It took four relievers to finish things out over the last two innings for the Nats (59-42), with Blake Treinen (1 save, 2.01 ERA, 1.24 WHIP) finally closing the door by inducing a game-ending double play out of Indians reserve catcher Roberto Perez.
Rookie Trea Turner (.319/.360/.511, 0 HR, 6 RBI) was 3-for-4 with three RBI in the leadoff spot. Daniel Murphy (.351/.388/.621, 20 HR, 75 HR) was 2-for-4 with a solo homer in the sixth.
Bryce Harper (.237/.377/.453, 20 HR, 55 RBI), hitting second in the order for the second straight day, was 0-for-4, after going 0-for-5 on Tuesday.
