Strasburg, Nationals blast D’backs, 14-1

washington nationalsStephen Strasburg won his MLB-best 15th game and had two hits and an RBI in a 14-1 Washington Nationals win at Arizona Monday night.

Strasburg (15-1, 2.63 ERA, 0.98 WHIP) allowed three hits in six innings, striking out six and walking two on 99 pitches, 66 of them strikes.

The Nats (62-44) scored four in the top of the first and led 9-1 after five in a game in which the outcome was never in doubt.

Daniel Murphy (.355/..395/.626, 20 HR, 77 RBI) was 3-for-3 with an RBI and three runs scored. Wilson Ramos (.330/.381/.529, 15 HR, 56 RBI) was 3-for-6 with two RBIs and two runs scored.
