stephen strasburgStephen Strasburg didn’t have his best stuff Saturday, but it was enough for the Washington Nationals to win the first game of a day-night doubleheader.

Strasburg (6-0, 2.95 ERA) gave up three runs on five hits in six innings of work as the Nats (23-13) beat the Miami Marlins, 6-4.

Strasburg struck out seven and walked three. Jonathan Papelbon pitched around some self-generated trouble in the ninth, walking two in a scoreless ninth to record his 11th save.

Wilson Ramos hit a solo homer in the sixth, his fourth of the season.

Michael A. Taylor, Anthony Rendon and Jayson Werth each had two hits. Bryce Harper was 0-for-2 with three bases on balls.
