Staunton: Wildlife Center to host gala

The Wildlife Center of Virginia will host its 24th annual Gala and Benefit Auction on Saturday at the Stonewall Jackson Hotel and Conference Center in Staunton.

The event is open to the public. Proceeds will benefit the Waynesboro-based Wildlife Center.

The event kicks off at 6 p.m. with a cocktail reception and silent auction. A seated dinner and live auction begins at 8 p.m.

Tickets for the black-tie-optional event are $100 per person. Tickets may be reserved by calling the Wildlife Center at 540.942.9453.
