On Friday, Staunton Police arrested one suspect in connection with an incident where counterfeit money was passed.
Carlos R. Gilestra, 43 of Chester, Virginia was charged with one felony count of Forging Coin and Bank Notes and one felony count of Obtaining Money by False Pretense.
The investigation is ongoing and additional charges are pending.
