Mary Baldwin University in Staunton welcomed more than 250 residential undergraduate freshmen on Monday.

The students spent a week acclimating to the university with move-in activities, orientation events and final preparations for the year ahead.

This is the second academic year under the leadership of President Jeff Stein.

The Murphy Deming College of Health Sciences, located in Fishersville, saw its occupational therapy and physical therapy students begin their programs earlier this summer.
