Staunton man dead in one-vehicle accident Saturday

policeVirginia State Police Trooper A.J. Garasimowicz is investigating a fatal single-vehicle crash in Augusta County.

The crash occurred Saturday (March 26) at 3:20 p.m., on Route 250 at Windward Drive.

A 2007 Chevrolet Tahoe was traveling along Route 250 when it ran off the right side of the road and struck a utility pole.

The driver, Timothy G. Flick, 47, of Staunton, Va., was transported to Augusta Health Center, where he died later Saturday afternoon.

Flick was not wearing a seatbelt.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
