Spot-A-Cop fans: don’t get too excited about all the police activity in the area of National Avenue in Staunton today.

The Augusta County Sheriff’s Office is conducting a SWAT team training exercise in the National Avenue area today, per a release.

There is no threat to the public, is the word.

Unless it just so happens that something big happens in that same vicinity coincidentally at the same time.

In which case, that would be bad timing, for whoever would be perpetrating such activity, considering.
