Route 712 bridge in Albemarle County to close May 21-25 for deck replacement

albemarle countyRoute 712 (North Garden Lane) in Albemarle County will be closed to through traffic May 21-25 while crews replace the timber deck on the bridge over South Branch.

The road will be closed between Route 711 (Burton Road) and Route 692 (Plank Road). The bridge will reopen to traffic the afternoon of May 25. Drivers are advised to use alternate routes.

Access will be maintained to all private and commercial entrances.

Message boards are in place to notify the public.
