Route 250 at Ivy reduced to one lane Aug. 11-12

The Virginia Department of Transportation advises motorists that Route 250 (Ivy Road) in western Albemarle County will be reduced to one lane from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. next Tuesday and Wednesday.

Traffic will be flagged across the Route 250 bridge over Little Ivy Creek, where a VDOT crew will assess the bridge deck and other components.

During the closure, motorists should expect minor delays and use caution when traveling through the work zone.
