Route 250 at Ivy reduced to one lane Aug. 11-12

road-work-headerThe Virginia Department of Transportation advises motorists that Route 250 (Ivy Road) in western Albemarle County will be reduced to one lane from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. next Tuesday and Wednesday.

Traffic will be flagged across the Route 250 bridge over Little Ivy Creek, where a VDOT crew will assess the bridge deck and other components.

During the closure, motorists should expect minor delays and use caution when traveling through the work zone.

Road and weather conditions, traffic camera feeds and other real-time travel information are available on the511 Virginia website, the free VDOT 511 mobile app or by calling 511 from any phone in Virginia. Local updates are also on Facebook and Twitter. Call 1-800-FOR-ROAD to report road problems or request information about Virginia’s highways.
