Yanks rally, throw wrench in O’s playoff plans

baltimore oriolesThe New York Yankees rallied from a 3-0 deficit, and Baltimore’s wild-card hopes got a bit muddied in a 7-3 loss on Saturday.

Manny Machado (.294 BA, .879 OPS) hit his 37th homer of the season for the O’s (88-73), who at this writing still have the lead for the top AL wild-card spot, a half-game ahead of Toronto, with Detroit a game back.
