A Grottoes man was killed when he lost control of his motorcycle in Rockingham County on Wednesday morning.
According to Virginia State Police, Cristian Fuentes Pizarro, 41, of Grottoes, was travelling at a high rate of speed on Oak Shade Road in the Cross Keys area at 7:30 a.m. when his motorcycle went off the right side of the road.
The motorcycle went through a fence, and Fuentes Pizarro was ejected.
Fuentes Pizarro died at the scene.
