Roanoke: Sen. Warner to host 12th annual Women’s Conference

Sen. Mark R. Warner will hold his 12th annual Women’s Conference in Roanoke on Saturday, Nov. 23.

The conference is a day of leadership development and empowerment.

Women of all ages are welcome to join from 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the Hotel Roanoke and Conference Center and hear from experts on a variety of important topics, including women’s health and financial fitness. Women will also have opportunities to gather resources from federal, state and local agencies.

Registration is free but participants are encouraged to bring a donation to the Warner’s Thanksgiving Food Drive benefitting Feeding Southwest Virginia.

Sessions will focus on everything from women’s health to financial fitness.

Keynote speaker will be New York Times bestselling author Angie Kim. Co-hosts of the event are Virginia Tech, Radford University, Altria, Amazon, Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield, Carilion Clinic, CathyLewis.com, Dominion Energy, FICO, Genworth, Hilton, Market Exec, Navy Federal and 5Points Creative.
