River City Radio Hour wraps up performances at Main Street United Methodist Church

With the projected opening of the Wayne Theatre in March, the River City Radio Hour will close out its performances at the Main Street United Methodist Church on Friday at 7:30pm.  The performance will combine some Radio Hour regulars with new talent to the area and the Radio Hour.

The Boogie Kings under the direction of Richard Adams with William Hayes on keyboard and J T Fauber at the drums andMarsha Howard will return to the final presentation as will Chrystal McKee.  McKee was last featured at WTA’s Gateway in the serial Angel, the Girl with the Golden Voice.  She will join the Boogie Kings and lead the audience in the traditional sing-a-long.

Debuting on the Radio Hour will be a three-piece band from Roanoke.  Trilogy is comprised of Kyle Fauber, Carson Push and Justin Martin.  To complete the evening, Fauber and Caleb Turner will present Humbletown:  the Greatest Town on Earth, a comic tale of founding of a small town seen through the eyes of the founding family

Door prizes for the January 15 performance will be provided by The Candlelight Cafe.

Admission to the January 15th  River City Radio Hour is Pay-What-You-Will at the door with open seating.  Donations of $10 or more are encouraged.
