A two-vehicle crash on Interstate 64 in Henrico County took the life of a Richmond woman early Sunday morning.

Tameecha F. Chambliss, 27, of Richmond, died at the scene of the 4:54 a.m. accident, according to Virginia State Police.

Chambliss was traveling west on I-64 near the 196 mile marker when her vehicle sideswiped the right rear of a vehicle being driven by Miguel Andres Munive Rangel, 46, of Doswell, who sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported from the scene for treatment.

A passenger in Chambliss’ vehicle, Alexandria Telisha Gamble, 27, also of Richmond, sustained serious but non-life-threatening injuries and was transported for medical care.

The crash remains under investigation.
