Richmond: Three men shot on West Broad Street Saturday night; one dies at hospital

Three men were shot on Saturday on West Broad Street in Richmond, and one did not survive, according to police.

Detectives identified the victim as Robert Allen, 36, of Prince George.

Officers were called to the location at 11:29 p.m. When police arrived, they found three adult males down on the ground with apparent gunshot wounds.

Two males were transported to a local hospital with injuries not considered to be life-threatening.

The third male, Allen, was transported to a local hospital where he succumbed to his injury and was pronounced dead.

The Medical Examiner will determine the cause and manner of death.
