Richmond pedestrian dead, struck by vehicle while crossing Midlothian Turnpike

A Richmond woman is dead after she attempted to cross Midlothian Turnpike and was struck by an SUV.

Tomorrow Brooks, 42, was found unresponsive in a westbound lane of the turnpike on Wednesday at 5:29 a.m.

The driver of the vehicle was traveling west in the center lane when they struck Brooks. The driver remained on scene.

At this time, no charges have been filed.

The investigation is ongoing. The accident occurred in the 6300 block of Midlothian Turnpike when Brooks attempted to make a mid-block crossing from the north side of the street to the south side.
