Richmond: One man dead, two injured in overnight shooting on Hull Street Road

Two people were injured and one person is dead following a shooting on the 5400 block of Hull Street Road in Richmond overnight.

Richmond Police Department officers responded to a report of random gunfire at 1:26 a.m. Once on scene, officers located three adults in a nearby parking lot. A male and female were injured. The third person was down and unresponsive.

Police report each had suffered apparent gunshot wounds, and one man died at the scene. The Medical Examiner will determine cause and manner of death.

The two injured individuals were transported to a local hospital with injuries that were not considered life threatening.
