A Richmond man was arrested last week in connection with a Sept. 25 fatal hit-and-run.

Arron Moss, 31, of Richmond, currently faces a felony unauthorized use of a vehicle charge; a release from Virginia State Police notes that investigators expect to seek additional indictments.

The crash occurred between 11:20 p.m. and 11:27 p.m. on Sept. 25, on the ramp from westbound Interstate 64 to southbound Interstate 95 in Richmond.

The investigation indicates a dark-colored SUV struck a 2025 Harley-Davidson FLTRX motorcycle, throwing its rider from the motorcycle.

The rider, Ashtain Noel Davis, 28, of Petersburg, died at the scene.

Moss was arrested and taken to the Richmond City Sheriff’s Office on Oct. 16.

Anyone with information about the crash is asked to call Virginia State Police Division 1 dispatch at 804-750-8758, dial #77 from a cellphone, or email [email protected].
