Richmond: 18-year-old dropped off at Chippenham Hospital dies from gunshot wound

An 18-year-old Richmond man who was dropped off at a hospital with a gunshot wound was pronounced dead shortly after arrival.

Police believe John Kelson Jr. was shot in the 3400 block of Walmsley Boulevard.

Kelson was dropped off at Chippenham Hospital in Richmond at approximately 11:48 p.m. on Wednesday night.
