Report: Jeremy Massie to get start for Ole Miss vs. UVA

Chris Graham

college world seriesRebelGrove.com is reporting that senior lefthander Jeremy Massie will get the start tonight for Ole Miss in its elimination game against UVA in the College World Series.

Massie (4-3, 2.73 ERA, 20G/8GS) threw an inning out of the bullpen in Ole Miss’s 2-1 loss to Virginia on Sunday. He was the Rebels’ midweek starter until transitioning to the bullpen later in the season.

He did well in a start against fellow CWS entrant Vanderbilt in the SEC Tournament in May, giving up a run on four hits in four and a third innings of work against the Commodores.
