Regional task force arrests Charlottesville man, seizes cocaine and 10K in cash

A Charlottesville man was arrested Thursday after a drug and gang task force seized 10 ounces of cocaine and $10,000 in cash.

Patrick Stovall, 43, was taken into custody and has been charged with possession of a controlled substance with the intent to distribute.

The 3A Regional Drug and Gang Task Force executed an arrest and search warrant at Crescent Hall at 500 1st Street in Charlottesville.

Stovall is being held at the Charlottesville Albemarle Regional Jail.

3A Regional Drug and Gang Task Force partners include the Albemarle County Police Department, Charlottesville Police Department, Drug Enforcement Administration, Fluvanna County Sheriff’s Office, Greene County Sheriff’s Office, Nelson County Sheriff’s Office, UVA Police Department and Virginia State Police.
