Piedmont Virginia Community College is expanding its career services on its Charlottesville campus offering exams with Prov, Kryterion and Pearson Vue.

The Pearson Vue Testing Center at PVCC has been renamed the Professional Testing and Certification Center.

The center offers exams, licensures and certification for:

  • the GED
  • National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians
  • Virginia Department of Environmental Quality
  • Cosmetology
  • Barbering
  • Construction code inspectors
  • CompTIA
  • Microsoft
  • Virginia Communication and Literacy Assessment
  • 170 clients including Google, Salesforce and ServiceNow

“This expansion of testing providers means that PVCC is able to assist more people in Charlottesville and the surrounding areas and can help more individuals reach their goals of a new job or career,” said Amy Floyd, PVCC testing coordinator.
