Potomac Nationals announce 2016 Opening Day roster

potomac nationalsThe Washington Nationals have released the 25-man Opening Day Roster for the Class-A Advanced Potomac Nationals.

The 2016 P-Nats’ Roster to begin the 39th campaign of Potomac Baseball features seven players amongBaseball America’s Top 30 Washington Nationals Prospects, 16 player’s who have previously donned The Red, White, & Blue, and nine players who are set for their Potomac debut.

As an addition to the previous release, jersey numbers and player pronunciations are attached as part of the updated roster.

The 2016 Potomac Nationals will open up the season on Thursday, April 7th in Wilmington vs. the Blue Rocks (Kansas City Royals).

The Potomac Nationals of the Carolina League play at Pfitzner Stadium in Woodbridge, Virginia, and are the Class-A Advanced affiliate of the Washington Nationals. The Potomac Nationals have claimed five Carolina League Championship titles (1982, 1989, 2008, 2010, and 2014) and nine CL Northern Division Championships.
