  • UVA has a six-game winning streak, including three straight road victories
  • The Cavaliers have a seven-game winning streak against the Panthers, including a 4-0 mark since 2013-14 when Pitt joined the ACC
  • Virginia is 11-3 all-time vs. Pitt in the series that dates back to 1957-58
  • The Cavaliers are 5-2 against the Panthers in Pittsburgh
  • UVA shot 56.3 percent (9-16) from 3-point range
  • UVA was held scoreless for the last 3:52 of the first half, but led 29-27
  • UVA had 15 bench points (Marial Shayok 8, Mike Tobey 4 & Evan Nolte 3)
  • UVA held its fourth straight opponent to less than 40 percent shooting from the field

  • Malcolm Brogdon (21 points) had his 12th 20-point effort of 2015-16 and fifth in last six games
  • Brogdon (1,546 points) moved passed Mike Scott (1,538 points from 2008-12) and Richard Morgan (1,540 points from 1986-89) into a tie for 15th place with Travis Watson (1,546 points from 2000-03) on the UVA all-time scoring list
  • Brogdon has a 22-game double-figure scoring streak
    • Anthony Gill was held to a season-low four points, ending his 25-game double-figure scoring streak dating back to last season
  • London Perrantes (14 points) reached double figures in scoring for the 12th time
  • Isaiah Wilkins had a career-high five assists
