Play Ball! with Mike Bocock, AFP editor Chris Graham, debuts this week on WSVA

baseball600Augusta Free Press editor Chris Graham will join Mike Bocock for another season of Play Ball! on WSVA-550AM in Harrisonburg.

Graham and Bocock will preview the 2015 season of Play Ball! live on WSVA on Thursday morning at 8:10 a.m.

New this year will be a tie-in with Play Ball! and a Rockingham County Baseball League Game of the Week that will begin on Friday, May 22, when the defending RCBL champion Stuarts Draft Diamondbacks host the Clover Hill Bucks.

The Game of the Week moves to Mondays beginning June 1, with Play Ball! serving as a lead-in to the Game of the Week broadcast with the latest on the RCBL, Valley League and local high-school and college baseball.

Graham and Bocock will join WSVA’s Karl Magenhofer on the Game of the Week broadcasts.

Local businesses can sponsor Play Ball! and the Rockingham County Baseball League Game of the Week for $450.

The sponsorship package includes commercials during the 30-minute pregame show and throughout the game broadcast.

The package includes commercials throughout the 10-week regular-season run for the Game of the Week.
