Page County Sheriff deputies are searching for a man wanted on outstanding felony warrants in Rockingham County.
Deputies responded to a report of a domestic situation in Stanley between a male and female at 9:38 a.m. this morning.
Todd Aaron Shifflett left the area on foot and is considered armed and dangerous, according to the PCSO.
Drones and K-9 dogs are being used in the search.
This morning while checking the area where Shifflett was last seen, deputies engaged him on foot, and he allegedly brandished a firearm at the deputies.
Deputies took a defensive position behind cover and lost sight of Shifflett.
No shots were fired.
Shifflett was wearing camo or a black sweatshirt, blue jeans and a black hat. The Sheriff’s Office activated a drone to search for him in the Deerfield Estates area of Stanley. K-9 dogs were also deployed. A shelter in place advisory was issued but has since been lifted.
Shifflett has multiple outstanding warrants, including new charges of assault, brandishing and possession of a firearm by convicted felon for the incident this morning.
