It’s a girl! Augusta Health in Fishersville welcomed its first baby of 2025, a seven-pound girl, this morning at 2:07 a.m.

Miriam Conley, named after her paternal grandmother, is the first child of Beth and Scott Conley of Mount Crawford.

Baby Conley weighed seven pounds, eight ounces and measured 19.5 inches long.

The delivering provider was Sarah Dey, CNM, with nursing care provided for both mother and baby by Hailey Hanger, RN, H. Shuke, RN, and Carrie Dean, RN.

“Both mother and baby are doing wonderfully,” the hospital said in a statement.
