North Chesterfield man dies from injuries in Albemarle County crash

Virginia State Police responded to a single-vehicle crash on I-64 east near the 128.5 mile-marker on Sunday at 6:55 p.m.

A 2001 Toyota Corolla was traveling east when it ran off the right side of the road, struck several trees and overturned.

The driver, Taliaferro B. Saunders, 65, of North Chesterfield, Va., died at the scene. He was wearing a seatbelt.

The crash remains under investigation.
