A Nelson County teen injured in a one-vehicle accident on June 26 has died.
Whitney F. Loving, 16, of Nellysford, Va., died at UVA Hospital on Thursday. Loving was traveling west on Glade Road around 4 p.m. the afternoon of June 26 when her 1998 Jeep ran off the right side of the road.
According to Virginia State Police, Loving overcorrected, lost control and struck a tree. The impact of the crash caused the vehicle to overturn.
