Music, theatre and show biz will tap off the Friday, May 2nd Richard Adams Variety Show at 7:30 pm at WTA’s Gateway, 329 West Main in Downtown Waynesboro.

William “88 Fingers” Hayes, the renowned pianist for the Boogie Kings will be Richard’s main act. William, known for his dazzling keyboard and singing skills will give you a mix of country, rock and ragtime.  Also singing on the show will be high school singing and acting sensation Chelsie Burks. Den Frumen, the singer, poet, songwriter and professional whistler will come back to the Gateway stage. Rosemarie Harper, a regular on the show, will continue the Rosemarie Monologues and to quote Adams, “I have absolutely no idea what Rosemarie will do.”  The regular audience participation acts and the one, the only Bill Martin will top off the show. There are only two shows left counting this one until the Gateway goes black in anticipation of the opening of the Wayne Theatre. Don’t be the person saying. “I wish I’d seen the Richard Adams Variety Show in the Gateway. Boy those were the good ole days.”

Once again Richard and his co-host Bill Martin will encourage the audience to take part in Richard’s segments that highlight the audience’s special talents.

The Richard Adams Variety Show is sponsored by the Community Foundation of the Central Blue Ridge.

Advance tickets for Richard Adams Variety Show are $10 and are available online at www.wtagateway.com or by calling the box office (540-943-9999).  Remaining tickets will be available at the door on the evening of the performance for $12. Doors will open at 7:00 pm.  The May 2 performance will start at 7:30 pm at WTA’s Gateway at 329 W. Main St. downtown Waynesboro, VA.
